This information is designed to assist you in selecting the correct ribbon material for your application. Standard Zebra® wax ribbons provide a quality print for a wide variety of applications. Zebra® wax/resin ribbons provide better scratch/smear resistance. Premium Zebra ®resin ribbons provide high resolution graphics and dense bar codes even in harsh environments.
2000 Standard
Standard thermal transfer wax ink formula for high quality printing, durable bar codes on Zebra 's coated paper label stock. Can print at speeds of 12" per second
2100 Enhanced
Thermal transfer formula that provides excellent print quality for normal and rotated bar codes on coated and uncoated labels & tags. Low printhead energy makes the 2100 Enhanced ideal for high speed printing up to 12" per second
5319 Performance
Superior wax ribbon formula for high quality printing on Zebra® coated and uncoated paper facestocks. Superior printing for both visible light and infrared scanning images. Recommended for use on tough to print uncoated and uneven tag stock including Tyvek®. UL recognized and CSA component acceptable when used with Zebra® approved labels.
