Why is our price lower then our competitors?

Many factors go into pricing. Overhead  is one large determining factor. Being located in Beaverdam keeps our overhead low. We don't spend a great deal on advertising. And that helps keep costs down.  Our costs go into our products and have for over 20 years.

Are these quality supplies?

We stress that all of our supplies are accepted by the US Post Office. This is one indication. We've been in business since 1983 and  have been offering these postal products since 1985. That's almost 20 years. We have seen how these products perform in the field for a long time and genuinely feel that our products are equal or superior to any other products available.

Note that our postage tape is moisture proof shrink wrapped to eliminate moisture damage and prevent product contamination. This also insures a long shelf life. Our cartons have a dust free, tamper evident seal to make sure they arrive in tact without product damage.

What's the guarantee?

All of our postage supplies come with a full refund within 90 days if you're not satisfied with the performance or quality.

We've been told that we can only use certain supplies in our machine - is that true?

No absolutely not. The law is very clear about this. If a salesman tells you you must buy only supplies from his/her company, tell them you want to see it in writing.  We also sell equipment and have never told a customer that they must use our supplies. We hope they purchase our supplies based on our price and service.

Can we purchase supplies on a Purchase Order ?

Yes. We do offer terms with approved credit. If your company has a standard vendor form we can use that. If you would like a credit application we can fax you ours. If you would like to set up an account, call us at 1-800-899-9389.

We're changing meters - What is your return policy on supplies?

If you have purchased supplies from us and your new meter requires a different type of tape/ink you can return unopened packs for exchange of equal value..

What Does Your Warranty Cover?

Our warranty is simple and straight forward. All Phoenix Tape Dispensers include our exclusive FULL 2 year parts and labor warranty (the best in the industry).  All other tape dispensers have a FULL 1 year parts and labor warranty. Others cover parts for 1 year and labor for 90 days. Some cover only certain parts for 1 year. Others have warranties that start on the day the machine is manufactured!. By the time you get your new machine several months of the warranty has already expired !

The only thing we don't cover is damage due to abuse. For example, if you run the machine over with a forklift, we won't cover that.

By the way, you don't have to fill out warranty cards, etc. You don't need to keep records, we will.

How Does The Warranty Work?

If a simple problem occurs under warranty and you can fix it with the right part, we'll send you that part at no charge. If, in an attempt to fix the problem something else should break, we'll cover it.

Keep in mind that we provide a complete parts/service guide with each tape dispenser.

If a problem requires in shop service you're only responsible for shipping the machine back to us. We will replace any defective part and return the machine to you at our expense.

Long Term Parts and Service Availability

We maintain a complete parts and service department for long term ease of maintenance. And, another benefit we offer is the fact that we don't have a minimum order requirement. Some companies have a $50-$100 minimum order requirement. That's great, but what if you just need a $2 spring?  If you need a $2 spring, you can order a $2 spring from us.

Why do you carry only certain  types of tape machines?

We feature only machines that have a proven track record of reliability and superior performance. We evaluate many machines. We test them and ask customers to test them and provide us with feed back. We feel the machines we offer have the best value for the money.  Each machine has certain features and benefits and we can help you in selecting the machine that's right for your application. We'll also tell you if there are drawbacks to any machine based on your requirements. We can provide demonstration machines for you to test before you buy. Do you offer sample rolls or ribbons ?

Yes we do. We can send you a sample roll of most labels (except Zebra brand) for you to test.
