Top Heater Assemblies have remained constant over the years, however,
there have been 3 different versions of the plug. The newer machines use a standard 3 prong plug (as shown in the picture below). Earlier machines used a circular plug and the earliest versions used no plug at all. The heater cord was wired directly into the side frame. Almost all Better Pack® 555 tape machines today use the current 3 pronged plug.
